I’ve always been a fan of board games and role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons. We also have two boys. so naturally our house is always in need of a cleaning. It got tiring asking them over and over to pick up dishes and trash, but it was even more frustrating hearing exasperated sighs with each request.
The Chore Boss originally came to life on a chalk board in our house. The entire dynamic of our interactions related to chores changed when the focus switched from cleaning up a room to finding a way out of a tangled maze.
My kiddos were excited to finish the next chore to progress in the story or quest of the day. After seeing such success at home, I’ve now brought this experience to an easy to read, exciting format that any parent can use.
